Elaine "Potsie" Quance

Elaine "Potsie" Quance, age 79, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2006 at her home in St. Helen surrounded by her family. Potsie, as everyone called her, had lived in St. Helen since 1968, formerly of Lexington. She was a proud volunteer with Hospice of Helping Hands, a member of the St. Helen Catholic Church and the CCW and was on the St. Helen fireworks committee. Potsie is survived by her children, Cindy (Terry) Niles of Nampa ID and Jack Quance of St. Helen, grandchildren, Penny, Dennis and Jay and a close friend, Virginia Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack and daughter-in-law, Diana. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin on Wednesday, November 8, 2006 from 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday from 12-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 10, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Sr. Barbara Matievich, O.P. will officiate with burial following at Fairview Cemetery, St. Helen.
