Elizabeth L. (Johnson) Davis

Elizabeth L. (Johnson) Davis, age 79, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2006 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She lived in Alger since 2004, formerly of Saginaw. Elizabeth was manager of Americana Lanes in Saginaw for many years. For over 20 years, she enjoyed her summers at East Tawas City Park with her husband, family and many friends. Surviving family members include daughter Margaret (Paul) Elkins of Skidway Lake, daughter Sandra (Larry) Hoffman of Saginaw and son Richard (Sue) Johnson of Holt, 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is Elizabeth's sister Dixie (Chuck) Sanders of Frankenmuth. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband William Jr. Davis, brothers Lee and William Miller and sister Peggy Harrick. Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will be on Saturday, January 6, 2007 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Pastor E. Newood Nevis will officiate.
