Estella G. Buckel

Estella G. Buckel, age 73 of West Branch, passed away Monday, April 18, 2011 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Saginaw. Estella had lived 30 plus years in Burton then made her retirement home in West Branch where she was born and raised. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Ladies Aid. She retired from General Motors in 1991 after 35 years of service. Estella is survived by her husband Russel Buckel of West Branch, her children, James Buckel of Fenton, Susan (Scott) McGirr of Grand Blanc and Sharon (Rick) Parker of Midland and her grandchildren, Michael, Tony, Nick and Zack. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Monday, April 25, 2011 from 2-9 p.m. The Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Branch. Fr. Patrick Maher will officiate. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Joseph Church.
