Eugene Polakowski

Eugene Polakowski, age 95 of St. Helen, passed away Sunday June 12, 2011 at Hilltop Manor in Roscommon after an extended illness. Eugene worked for General Motors and was in the service during WWII. Eugene is survived by his nieces and nephews, Judy Lord of Farmington Hills, Linda Recca of Pinckney, Kenneth Dewa of Dearborn Heights, Patrick Ciez of Savannah, GA and his sister-in-law Jean Ciez of Livonia. He was preceded in death by his wife Doreen and his son Larry. Visitation at St. Helen Catholic Church will begin at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday June 14, 2011 until the time of the service at 1:30 p.m. Fr. Richard Seifferly will officiate with burial following at Fairview Cemetery, St. Helen.
