Ezra Levern Jordan

Ezra (LeVern) Jordan, age 72, passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at The Villa at West Branch. He had lived in West Branch for the past 2 years, formerly of Houston, TX. LeVern was born on July 20, 1945 to Ezra and Ruby (Magehee) Jordan in Oakdale, LA and raised in Longville, LA. He attended McNeese University in Lake Charles, LA where he met and married his wife of 53 years, Barbara (Smith) Jordan. He also attended and graduated from Houston Baptist University. LeVern ministered in churches in Louisiana and Texas and was a in the ministry for 51 years. LeVern enjoyed fishing and loved his family dearly.

LeVern is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Jordan of West Branch, MI; children, Trevor (Lara) Jordan of The Woodlands, TX, Traci (Dale) Smith of The Woodlands, TX, Tami Jordan Janovsky of West Branch, MI, and Tyler (Melissa) Jordan of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Cory (Kimberly) Stephens, Chelsi (Michael) Sholes, Jace Janovsky, Ashley Smith, Bradley Smith, Mallory Jordan, Jett Jordan, Taylor Jordan, Bailey Jordan, and Jasper Jordan; great grandchildren, Emilea, Vanessa, James, and Brody; sisters, Joy Belle Trahan of TX and Mavis (Jimmy) Kennedy of Longville, LA; and nieces and nephews, Brett, Beverly, Nita, Debbie, and Jeanette. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Anita Faye Jordan and brother in law, Rogers Trahan.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Alive Church, 2945 Hansen Rd., West Branch, MI 48661. Pastor Chad Deerman will officiate.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Believers Fellowship Baptist Church, 21603 Rhodes Rd., Spring, TX 77388. Pastor Phil Arms will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home.
