Fidencio O. Tijerina

Fidencio O. Tijerina, age 85, of Alger, passed away at Bortz Health Care of Rose City. Mr. Tijerina had lived in the Alger area for over 20 years, formerly of Saginaw. He enjoyed traveling and visiting Mexico, gardening and playing the harmonica and guitar. Survivors include his children, Eva Wheeler of Burt, Alice (Howard) Patterson of Flint, Dave (Mary Rose) Tijerina of Saginaw and Fidencio Tijerina Jr. of Montrose, 6 grandchildren, Ernest, Melissa, Stella, Tony, Chelsea and Nicholas, 5 great-grandchildren, Stephanie, Ursula, Amora, Connor and Dylan and 2 sisters, Connie and Kate. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Tuesday, August 9, 2005 from 2-8 P.M. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at the funeral home. Pastor Dan Stoneback will officate with burial following at Alger Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the family.
