Floyd J. Kaiser

September 28, 1915 — December 7, 2005

Floyd J. Kaiser, age 90, passed away on December 7, 2005 at his home. He had lived in West Branch for all of his life and was married to his loving wife Vera for 67 years. Floyd owned and operated an excavating business for 30 years. He was a member of the Moose Lodge of Skidway Lake, Boy Scouts of America and St. Joseph Catholic Church. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and hunting. Floyd is survived by his wife Vera, daughters Elaine Hartwick of Topinabee, Janiece Hitchcock of West Branch, Sandra (Irvin) Meyers of West Branch, and Nancy Kaiser of Atlanta, Michigan; sons Gary (Claudia) Kaiser and Westley Kaiser, both of West Branch; 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren; sisters Lillian Craft and Bessie Lawrence, both of West Branch and brother Bill Kaiser of West Branch. Preceding Floyd in death was his daughter Joyce. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Friday December 9, 2005 from 5:30-9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Father Robert Bissot will officiate. Memorial Contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.
