Francis "Frank" H. Walters

Francis “Frank” H. Walters, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 in West Branch, MI. He had lived in West Branch since 1991, formerly of Mt. Morris, MI. Frank was born to Howard and Alma (Brick) Walters on October 19, 1930 in Flint, MI. On October 13, 1996 he married Eleanor Robaugh in Maybell, CO. Frank was a member of the Eagles Club, VFW, American Legion, and Moose Lodge. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. Frank loved the outdoors and would make trips out west to hunt. He also enjoyed yard work, family gatherings, and going to Mac’s for morning coffee. Frank will be loved and missed by all.

Frank is survived by his loving wife, Eleanor Walters of West Branch; children, Debbie (John) Beck of Flint, Colleen (Craig) Freeman of Unionville, MI, Yvonne White of TN, Sandra (Jeff) Edmonds of Clio, MI, and Connie (Rob Williams) Simons of Holly, MI; step children, Dianne (Dave) Clemons of Canton, MI, Gregory (Debi) Tissue of Waterford, MI, and Jeffrey (Debbie Speight) Tissue of West Branch; brothers, Gordon “Gordie” (Muriel) Walters and Howard Walters, both of Clio, MI; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Sunday, July 12, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, July 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Father Patrick Maher will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
