Frank R. Neveau

Frank R. Neveau, age 79 of St. Helen, passed away Wednesday September 22, 2010 at Bay Regional Medical Center in Bay City. Mr. Neveau had lived in St.Helen since 1979, formerly of Bay City. He was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church, the K of C #8390 and the St. Helen Civic Center. He volunteered for the commodities program in St. Helen and Special Olympics and he played Santa Claus for the COOR children for many years. He formerly owned and operated Neveau’s Body Shop in both St. Helen and Bay City. Frank is survived by his wife Jeanette Neveau of St.Helen, children, Sheryl (Ben) Macnowski of Essexville, Frank (Janet) Neveau of Bay City, Jack (Dawn) Neveau of Prescott Valley, AZ and Anna (Larry) Guzdzial of Freeland. 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters and 5 brothers. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin on Friday, September 24, 2010 from 3-9 p.m. with a K of C Rosary at 7:00 p.m. followed by a Vigil Service officiated by Sr. Barbara Matievich, O.P. The Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at St. Helen Catholic Church in St. Helen. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, St. Helen. Memorial Contributions may be made to the family.
