Franklin Wayne Peake

Franklin Wayne Peake, age 80, passed away on Monday April 10, 2017. He was born in Newberry Michigan on March 18, 1937 and then moved to Warren Michigan as a child. Frank Went into the Army for several years and served overseas in the intelligence area. He moved to Sterling Heights in 1966 and spent the next 30 years in the Metro Detroit area working in the Asphalt Paving business. In 1982, He and his Wife Pamela opened Action Traffic Maintenance out of their home. They have built the business over the years into a thriving corporation that has become an industry leader. He remained involved in the business until his passing. He was a passionate baseball and hockey fan and enjoyed spending time with his family and dogs. Frank was a contributor to the local police and fire departments. He gave many hours of service to helping the community and to the Charlton Heston Academy.

Frank is survived by his wife Pamela of Saint Helen MI, children Timothy (Mary), Laura (Billy) Bagley, Thomas (Barbara), Kelly Peake and Neil (Lisa), brother Robert, sisters Joann Kiesznowski and Ilene Zalewski, 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his son Jason, wife Joyce, mother Louise Sartor, father Michael Fredrick Peake, step father Clarence Sartor, sister Lucille, and brothers Gerald and Fred.

Visitation will be held at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen on Thursday, April 13, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, April 14, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 9:00 a.m. Pastor Ken Peterson will officiate. Interment following the service at Fairview Cemetery in St. Helen.
