Gary W. Sanders

Gary W. Sanders, age 66 of Alger, passed away Monday, December 10, 2012 at Veterans Hospital in Saginaw. Gary served in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1968 and was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Service Star after his service in Vietnam. Gary loved his Corvettes, hunting, fishing and searching for mushrooms. Gary is survived by his daughter Nichole Sanders and grandsons Kaleb and Breadon. Also surviving are his sisters, Carol (Ron) Stephens, Lorraine (George) Pappas and Donna Sanders and four nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Arletta Sanders. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at Edwards Township Cemetery Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at 12:00PM.
