Genevieve A. Nesbit

Genevieve A. Nesbit age 92 of Lupton, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City. Genevieve had lived in Lupton for most of her life. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge of Rose City and she enjoyed crocheting, cooking, sewing, camping, traveling and baking. Genevieve is survived by her children Ivan Wickwire of Lupton, Lucille McGregor of West Branch and Maxine (Von) Myers of Lupton, 13 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren. Also surviving are her sisters Sharon Enos of Whittemore, Florence (Jerome) Illig of Gladwin and Delores “Dilly” Shore of West Branch and her brother Junior (Doris) Craft of Mancelona. She was preceded in death by her husband’s Carl Wickwire and Matthew Nesbit, great-grandson Brien Wiltse and 9 siblings. Visistation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City will begin on Thursday, February 21, 2013 from 3:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home with burial following at Lane Heights Cemetery in Lupton. Pastor Dan Stoneback will officiate. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Lupton Friends Church.
