George P. Benjamin

George P. Benjamin, age 89 of West Branch, passed away at his home on Monday, November 6, 2006. He had lived in the West Branch-Rose City area for all of his life. He enjoyed gardening and he loved his family, wife, children, grandchildren and his dog, Corky. George is survived by his children, Terry (Kathy) Benjamin of Prescott and Debra Flint of West Branch, grandchildren, Chrissy, Marcie, Chandra, Heather and Quenten and great-grandchildren, Kyle, McKenzie, Tiani and Erik, his brother Charles and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vera in 1996. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Tuesday, November 7, 2006 from 5-9 p.m. The Funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at the funeral home. Ray Valley will officiate with burial following at Brookside Cemetery, West Branch. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Helping Hands, West Branch.
