Gerald E. Bair

Gerald E. Bair, 71, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2020 at his home in West Branch with his wife by his side after a brief illness with cancer. Gerald was born Tuesday, May 17, 1949 in Ann Arbor, MI to Roland E. and Lucille M. (King) Bair. He has been a resident of West Branch for the past 12 years previously of Brighton, MI. Gerald graduated from Brighton High School in 1967. He was a US Army Veteran and a life member of the Brighton VFW post #4357 where he served on the honor guard for many years. Gerald worked for Ford Motor Co. for over 30 years and was a proud member of the UAW. He loved cars, cooking, and doing the grocery shopping.

Gerald is survived by his wife of 49 years Diane (Casey) Bair of West Branch and son Jeffery Bair of Brighton. He is preceded by his parents.

Gerald wishes were to be cremated and his ashes buried at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI with full military honors.
