Gerald Edward Buhlman

Gerald Edward Buhlman, 80, of West Branch, MI passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 16th, 2017 at home surrounded by his family.

Gerald was also known as “Jerry” or “Todd” and was born in West Branch on March 9, 1937 to Edward and Marie Buhlman. Jerry graduated 8th grade from West Branch to take care of the family farm. He has been a hard working farmer his whole life, along with truck driving and running several successful businesses. He enjoyed his early mornings at the “BS” table with all the local men. He was an avid hunter who enjoyed taking his family to the UP during hunting season.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Edward Buhlman, Marie (Ehinger) Buhlman, sister Shirley (Buhlman) Wangler, and son Theodore Chad Buhlman.

Jerry is survived by his son Todd Buhlman of West Branch, son Tim (Debbie) Buhlman of West Branch, daughter Tami Buhlman of East Tawas, son Tom (Kim) Buhlman, of Rose City, daughter Tressa (Robert) Augustine of Beaverton, grandchildren Heather (TJ) Grace, Jason (Amy) Buhlman, Ky Buhlman, Will Buhlman, Michael (Kelsey) Bridson, Marie (James) Bridson DeWald, Clarence Buhlman,Chad Buhlman,Devon Augustine, Kayla Augustine,Cadence Augustine, Andrea Augustine, and great grandchildren Lowan Grace, Chase Buhlman, Carter Buhlman, Paisley Buhlman and Lillee Dewald. Also surviving are his sisters Beverly (Erv) Adams and Janet Buhlman, brothers Jim, Dale (Karen), Jack (Diane) Buhlman along with many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Cremation has taken place and a private family memorial will take place at a later date.

Jerry will be missed by all, but thankful he is with the Lord. Rest in Peace Pa!
