Gerald Holland

Mr. Holland passed away at West Branch Regional Medical Center. He had been a resident of St. Helen since 1993, formerly of Crump. He was a member of the VFW, the DAV, the Fox Club of Crump, the RATS, the 40/8 Club and a life member of the American Legion. He enjoyed hunting and his grandchildren. Mr. Holland is survived by his wife, Lillian Holland of St. Helen, children--Gerald (Marcia) Holland of Pinconning, Diane (Michael) Lobodzinski and Daniel (Rolanda) Holland both of Midland, 21 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Also surviving are his sisters--Odeal (Roy) Decaire of Sebewaing and June (William) McAlpine both of Sebewaing and Joyce (Warren) Winters of Bay City, brothers--James (Marie) Holland of Reese and Howard (Diana) Holland of Sebewaing. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Marcia Lauria, brothers--Roland and Leland Holland and his sister, Orla Schweitzer. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin on Saturday February 28, 2004 from 1-9 P.M. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the Funeral Home. The American Legion Post #416 of St. Helen will officate. Burial will be at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
