Gergely "Geri" Fuzi

Gergely “Geri” Fuzi, age 79, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2014 in Rose City, MI. He has lived in Rose City since 1997, formerly of Sterling Heights, MI. Geri was born to Gergely and Margit (Kotia) Fuzi on March 15, 1935 in Hungary. He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Rose City. Geri enjoyed hunting, fishing, taking care of his retirement property, and trips to Hungary to visit his family.

Geri is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Janice of Rose City; children: Gregory Fuzi of CA, Frank (Betty) Fuzi of CA, William Fuzi of TX, Karl Fuzi of Royal Oak, MI, Roger Watson of Rose City, Ronald Watson of Rose City, Lorene Sibel of Westland, MI, and Kelly Pierce of Inkster, MI; daughters in law: April Fuzi of Washington Twp., MI and Loucinda Fuzi of Elkton, MA; 19 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, 3 sisters, and many nieces and nephews in Hungary. He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City with visitation starting at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Jody Coon will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church or Hospice of Helping Hands.
