Gladys M. Yombor

Gladys M. Yombor, age 87 of St. Helen, recently of The Brook in Roscommon, passed away at Hilltop Manor Healthcare Center in Roscommon following a short illness. She was born in Detroit, the daughter of Bert and Marie Waldorff Balogh of Hungary. A homemaker, she and her husband Stephen Yombor retired to the St. Helen area in 1971. Gladys was predeceased by her husband Stephen, her daughter, Arlene Merryman, her son Robert Yombor, and two sisters--Irene LaForest and Vera Stuecker. She is survived by her granddaughter, Cathleen Fejedelem and her husband Brian of Maine, grandson Christopher Yombor of New Jersey, grandson Michael Yombor of North Carolina, and great-grandchildren Emily Fejedelem and William Massey. Gladys also leaves behing several nieces and nephews in the Detroit area, and friends Margaret and Adam Eisele of St. Helen. A Memorial Service will take place in the spring in St. Helen.
