Gloria Jane Fournier

Gloria Jane Fournier, age 90, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City, MI. She was born on January 17, 1928 in Algonac, MI to Harry and Anna (Forkert) Stern. Gloria had lived in Alger, MI for the past 45 years, formerly of Marine City, MI. On January 5, 1946 she married Charles Fournier in Port Huron, MI. Gloria was a member of the Oak Grove Log Church in Gladwin, MI and served as township clerk for Bourret Township for 25 years. She enjoyed traveling, cooking and spending time with her family.

Gloria is survived by her husband, Charles Fournier of Alger, MI; children, Judy (Virgil) Murdie of White Lake, MI, Jody (Phyllis) Fournier of Ft. Myers, FL, Jane (Dave) Endres of East China, MI, Jeanne (Brian) Decker of Rochester Hills, MI, Gerald (Karen) Fournier of St. Clair, MI, Jeff (Ruth) Fournier of Alger, MI, Joy (Bob) Beauvais of East China Twp., MI, and Jon (Flora) Fournier of Rockland Co. NY; 43 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Ted Stern, Betty Williams, Rex Stern, Benjamin Stern and Shirley Stern; and grandchildren, Renae Fournier and Christopher Fournier.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Pastor Paul Klassen will officiate.
