Gwinevere S. "Gwen" Kieffer

Gwinevere S. Kieffer, age 78 of West Branch, passed away at her home on Tuesday, April 3, 2012. Gwen had lived in West Branch since 1984, formerly of Pontiac. She enjoyed playing cards, snowmobiling, fishing and was an avid Tiger baseball fan. She hosted family fish fries every year. Gwen is survived by her son, Charles Kieffer of West Branch, grandsons, Lyle Kieffer and Jamie Kieffer both of West Branch, great-grandchildren, Tyler, Olivia, Brianna and Pamela Kieffer and her brother, John (Carla) Walters of Holly. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles E. Kieffer and her parents, Sherman Bricken and Eleanor Pratt. Visitation will begin at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch on Monday, April 9, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Daniel Stoneback will officiate. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice Advantage, West Branch.
