Harold R. Rosenbum

Harold R. Rosenbum, age 78, passed away on Friday, April 13, 2018 at MidMichigan Medical Center in West Branch, MI. He was born on June 13, 1939 in Flint, MI to Bryan and Myrtle (Medlin) Rosenbum. Harold has lived in Alger for 32 years, formerly from Flint. He married Dolores Wise in Holly, MI on October 21, 1961. He was known as the Skidway lottery man and enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to deer camp and playing cards. He enjoyed spending time with his family, who call him “Uncle Bub”.

Harold is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Dolores Rosenbum; daughter, Demae (Galen Gavit) Rosenbum; sons, Dale (Ann) Rosenbum and Ryan Rosenbum; grandchildren, Nicholas (Tasha Smalley-Rozell) Rozell, Erica Rosenbum, Audrey Rozell, Lauren Rosenbum, and Galen K. Gavit – known as Goobie; 2 great grandchildren; sisters, Carol (Jim) Navarre and Sharon Rivard; and brother, Roger(Nancy) Rosenbum. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Raymond Dudley and brother in law, John Rivard.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Monday, April 16, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Nancy Rosenbum will officiate.
