Harvey Charles Warle, age 97, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at The Brook in West Branch, MI. Harvey has lived in West Branch since 2010, formerly of Prescott, MI. He was born to John and Inga (Berson) Warle on November 3, 1916 in Flint, Michigan. Harvey married Pearl Rosencrants in 1939; she precedes him in death in 1983. On September 14, 1985, he married Marjorie Jenkins at the Bethany Presbyterian Church in Flint, MI. Harvey was a member and very involved with Bethany Presbyterian Church in Flint, MI and the First Presbyterian Church of Maple Ridge in Twining, MI. He enjoyed winning at playing cards, golfing, bowling, and fishing. Harvey was a self-employed Paper Hanger for more than 50 years in the Flint and West Branch areas as well as Brooksville, FL. Harvey is survived by his wife, Marjorie Warle of West Branch, MI; daughters: Darylee (Sam) Coplin of Davison, MI, Elise Anderson of Olympia, WA, Brenda Beatty of Youngtown, AZ; daughter-in-law: Carol Warle of Flint, MI; stepsons: Russ (Patty) Jenkins of Skidway Lake, MI, Randy Jenkins of Flint, MI; grandchildren: Rhonda (Britton Harris) Golden, Nathan Coplin, Todd Anderson, Jennifer Crandell, Doug Warle, Andrea Warle, Hannah (Rich) Perez, Shannon (Edwin) Garcia, Amanda (Tony) Clark, Adam (Kristen) Jenkins; great grandchildren: Skyler, Zachary, Riley, Kaitlyn, Nathan, Naomi, Gavin, Gabriele, Eric, Logan, Brooklyn; 7 step grandchildren and 19 step great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife: Pearl; sons: Clifford and Bill Warle; and sisters, Dorothy and Beatrice. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 1 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 3 p.m. Pastor Kathleen Rowe will officiate. Memorial Contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Maple Ridge. The family expresses appreciation to The Brook staff and to Hospice Advantage for their dedicated love and care.
