Helen B. Bullen

Helen B. Bullen, age 92 of West Branch, passed away Friday, April 13, 2012 at Bortz Health Care in West Branch. Helen was born November 7, 1919 in Hot Springs, South Dakota, the daughter of Park and Hazel Baldwin. She had lived in West Branch area since 2002, formerly of Irons, MI. Helen was member of Irons Union Church and First United Methodist Church of West Branch. She retired in Mason after 25 years as Deputy County Clerk for Ingham County. She served as Secretary for the Ingham County Board of Commissioners. After her retirement she moved to Irons, MI where she was elected Township Clerk. Helen enjoyed bowling, card playing, traveling and watching the Tigers and Pistons. Helen is survived by daughters, Jane (Don) Lehman of West Branch, Julie Jones of Fort Lauderdale, FL, 3 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Helen is preceded in death by husbands, Clairmont E. Everitt, Lynn H. Bullen, and step-sons, William and Douglas Bullen. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin Tuesday, April 17, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Lisa Cook will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church Memorial Garden.
