Helen M. Cox

Helen M. Cox, age 75 of West Branch, formerly of Milford, died Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at her home after a long illness. Helen was born on January 7, 1931 in Ypsilanti to Harold and Luellda(Krellwitz) Wolcott. She worked for Chrysler Corporation for 30 years as an inspector. Helen was a active member of the West Branch Senior Center. Helen is survived by her children; Judy (Russell) Lankford of Onsted, MI.; Carol Cox (Jim Barrells) of Commerce Twp. and Brian Cox of Alpena; 6 grandchildren, Terry Lankford, Thomas and Lauren McKenzie, Shannon Reahard, Leah and Katie Cox, 4 great-grandchildren and a very special friend, Robert Curtis of West Branch. Also surviving is a sister; Dorothy Waldo of Bell, FL. Helen was preceded in death by her husband Harold, 2 daughters, Nancy Reahard and Kathy Cox and a grandson Mark Lankford. Visitation will be on Sunday August 20, 2006 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home, West Branch. Funeral services will be on Monday, August 21, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Larry Kirby.
