Herbert Lee Stevens

Herbert Lee Stevens, age 85, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City, MI. He was born on January 14, 1937 in Osborn, KY to Clell and June (Howell) Stevens.

Herbert lived in the Alger area since 1990, formerly of Taylor, MI. He loved the outdoors. Especially feeding the birds and hummingbirds, cutting grass, doing yardwork, and just sitting outside in his chair enjoying nature. Herbert also liked to drive around sightseeing and listening to country music.

Herbert is survived by his son, Mitcha Lee (Carolyn) Stevens of St. Helen, MI; grandchildren, Dawn, Veronica, Jonathon (Pashance), Gavin, Stephen (Shannon), Rebecca, Hannah, Michael and Mattias; stepmother, Thelma; and extended family, Randy (Betty), Angela (Barry) and Tammy (Harlan).

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Betty, sisters Lula Bell and Gerlene.

Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin on Friday, June 10, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be at the funeral home on Saturday, June 11,2022 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery. Pastor Roger Green will officiate.
