Honora V. Peck

Honora V. Peck, age 94 of West Branch, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at her home. She had lived in the West Branch area for most of her life. She was a member of the Churchill United Methodist Church, the Zion Rose Chapter #117, Order of Eastern Star and the West Branch Moose Lodge #5051. She enjoyed feeding the birds, and outdoor activities including fishing, golfing and deer hunting, which she started in her 70’s. Honora is survived by her sons, James (Laurie) Peck of Marquette and Ted (Valerie) Peck of Berlin Township, grandchildren, Jennifer Peck and Stephanie Lewis, a great-grandson, Dean Lewis and her sister Lottie Bryant. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Walter Peck, Donald Morton and Willis Webster, her brother, Ted Peter and sisters Caroline Friedriechsen and Henrietta Vogan. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Friday, February 27, 2009 from 2-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Pastor Cindy Gibbs will officiate. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Helping Hands, West Branch.
