Ilene G. Mazen

Ilene G. (Arseneau) Mazen, age 60 of Alger, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2009 at West Branch Regional Medical Center. Ilene had lived in Alger since 2003, formerly of Ferndale. She graduated from St. James High School, Ferndale in 1967 and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #370 of Skidway Lake. Ilene is survived by her companion of many years William Tibbitts, her children, Michael Mazen of Metamora, Kevin Mazen of Columbiaville, Johnathon Mazen of Wyoming and Nichole Tibbitts of West Branch and 4 grandchildren. Also surviving is her mother, Lea Mary Reilly of Madison Heights, her sister, Julie Green of Hazel Park and her brothers, John Arseneau of Rochester Hills and Robert Arseneau of Florida. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, May 9, 2009 until the time of the Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m. Fr. Robert Bissot will officiate.
