Imogene L. Stanley

Imogene L. Stanley, age 79, of West Branch, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2006 at her home. She had lived in West Branch since 1998, formerly of Greenbush. Mrs. Stanley loved to cook. Imogene is survived by her children, Gary Stanley of Swartz Creek and Kathy Stanley of West Branch, 6 grandchildren, Jason (Carol)Scherrer, Amy Sherrer, Jeremy Scherrer, Richard Stanley, Kim Marshall and Adam Stanley and 7 great-grandchildren. A sister, Betty Popilek of Burton. Also surviving are special nieces and nephews, Teresa and Walt and Kathryn and David. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard in 2005. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Wednesday, August 30, 2006 from 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 31, 2006 at the funeral home. Rev. Dan Stoneback will officiate with burial following at Houghton Lake Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Helping Hands, West Branch.
