Irene Elizabeth Heckman

Irene Elizabeth Heckman, age 80, passed away on Monday, June 25, 2018 at her home in Prescott, MI with her family by her side. She was born on September 2, 1937 in Detroit, MI to John and Marion (Marcotte) Berry. Irene had lived in Prescott since 2017, formerly of West Branch. She was a member of the Sweet Adelines of West Branch and enjoyed painting.

Irene is survived by her daughter, Katie (Jason) Herman of Prescott; son, David Heckman of Prescott; grandchildren, Laken Lee Herman; brother, John (Robin) Berry of Port Huron; and sister, Kathy (Ken) Brown of CO. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Garry and brother, Tom Berry.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation starting at 1:00 p.m.
