Irene M. Niedowicz

Irene M. Niedowicz, age 91 of St. Helen, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2010 at The Brook of Houghton Lake. Mrs. Niedowicz had been a resident of St. Helen since 1980, formerly of Clawson. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of St. Helen and she enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Irene is survived by her children, Suzanne Zoli of St. Helen, Steven (Sherry) Niedowicz of Prudenville, her daughter in law, Diane Niedowicz of Clawson, 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Bruno, her sons, James and Dennis and her son-in-law Bill Zoli. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin on Sunday, December 12, 2010 from 4-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in St. Helen. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice of West Branch.
