Ivan "Skip" Sheply

Ivan “Skip” Sheply, age 71 passed away Thursday, March 25, 2010 at West Branch Regional Medical Center. Skip had lived in Rose City for most of his life. Skip enjoyed working and playing on the computer, watching tv, and electronics. Skip is survived by his mother, Mildred Sheply of Rose City, brother, Gary (Dalene) Sheply of Whittemore, and sister, Colleen "Connie" Woelke of Millington. Also surviving are numerous relatives in the Rose City area. He is preceded in death by his father, George “Jack” Sheply. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City will begin Sunday, March 28, 2010 from 2-8 pm. The funeral service will be held Monday, March 29, 2010 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Rev. Donald J. Wojewski will officiate. Burial will follow at Rose City Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church or Muscular Dystrophy Association.
