James Worley

James Worley, age 82, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at his home in Alger, MI. He was born to John and Elatha (McPherson) Worley in Whiteville, NC on August 9, 1933. James had lived in Alger since 1985, formerly of Flint, MI. He retired from General Motors after 32 years of employment. He enjoyed fishing and carpenter work.

James is survived by his children, Rebecca A. Barrett of Clio, MI, James R. Worley, Parris D. Worley, and Nikki Roberts all of Alger; grandchildren, Miranda (Pete), Brian, Meghan, Kayla, and Kayla; great grandchild, Sophia; nephew, Barry Worley of NC; and sister in law, Pauline Worley of NC. He is preceded in death by parents, wife, Alma Lucille Worley, 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch, MI will begin on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The burial will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Crestwood Memorial Cemetery in Grand Blanc, MI.
