Jason Scott Alexander

Jason “Jay” Scott Alexander, age 21, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2014 in St. Helen, MI. He had lived in St. Helen for his entire life. Jay was born to James Alexander and Julena (Sian) Zrebski on February 25, 1993 in Grayling, MI. He enjoyed fishing, boating, canoeing, being outdoors, four wheeling, and playing basketball. Jay also enjoyed being with his brothers and helping take care of his mother.

Jay is survived by his mother, Julena (Matt) Zrebski of St. Helen; father, Jim (Lety) Alexander of Redford, MI; siblings: Randy (Nicole) Thompson –nieces, Haylie and Carlena of St. Helen, Sean (Ashley Harder) Thompson of St. Helen, Mattie Zrebski of St. Helen, Josh Arnold of Melbourne, FL, and Melanie Crider of Redford; grandmother, Suzanne Zoli of St. Helen; grandparents, Richard (Judy) Sian of St. Helen; great grandmother, Carlena Gorte of St. Helen; grandparents, Lee (Bonnie) Zrebski of St. Helen; grandmother, Carol Mosley of St. Helen; cousin, Racheal Sian of Fort Myers, FL; uncle, Rick Sian of St. Helen; aunts and uncles: Laura and Bob Main of Romeo, MI and Wally and Tracey Shepherd of Harrison, MI; and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandpas, Harold Alexander and Bill Zoli and great grandparents, Bruno and Irene Niedowicz.

Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin on Friday, October 24, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in St. Helen, MI. Rev. Rodney Morrison, pastor, will officiate.
