Jeanette Prudence Grove

Jeanette Prudence Grove went home to be with her Precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, December 9, 2022, at the age of 91 years. Jeanette was born on April 23, 1931, in Atlanta, MI to Leon and Esther (Chapman) Carey.

She lived in Bay City until 2002 and then moved to West Branch. Jeanette was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in West Branch and ladies’ missionary group. She played the violin for many events at church. She was faithful to her church and church family. She was very thankful for her extended family and many friends.

Jeanette is survived by her daughter Ann (Tom) Teall of West Branch; son Andy (Lori) Grove of North Tonawanda, NY; grandchildren Landon (Aubrey) Teall of Midland, Logan (Kendra) Teall of Indonesia, and Luke (Alandra) Teall of West Branch; and great grandchildren Maxwell, Madison, Mia, Laken, and Liam Teall.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold, and siblings Naomi, Gates, Maurice, Mercer, and Eugene.

The funeral service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church in West Branch on Monday, December 12, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. with visitation starting at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Calvary Baptist Cemetery. Pastor Tom Teall will officiate.

Memorial contributions can be made to Calvary Christian Academy and Compassus Hospice.
