Jeffrey E. Mitchell

Jeffrey E. Mitchell, born in West Branch, MI on May 25, 1960 passed away on January 31, 2020 after a valiant battle with Cancer. He has lived in the Edwardsville, IL area for the past twenty years.

Jeff was close to family and friends. He enjoyed Golf, Music, Holiday Shores Ski Club, a good cigar, and a hearty beer when the opportunity presented itself.

Surviving are his parents, John and Judy Mitchell of West Branch; sister, Julie LaFramboise (Dean Woody) of Bay City; niece, Melissa (Mike) Schmidt; nephew, Matt (Allyson) LaFramboise; great nieces/nephew, Sydney, Sophie and Jacob Schmidt; uncles and aunts, Don (Mary) DeMatio, Joe (Donna) Mitchell, and Jane Cuellar; former spouse and best friend, Vel Miller.

Jeff was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Louis and Frances Mitchell and maternal grandparents, Eugene and Louise DeMatio.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home, 109 E. Houghton Ave, West Branch, MI on Friday, February 7th. At 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 8th, there will be visitation followed by an 11:00 Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church, West Branch.
