Jeffrey Thomas Cherryhomes

Jeffrey Thomas Cherryhomes, age 59, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, MI. He had lived in St. Helen, MI for the past 30 years, formerly of Detroit, MI. Jeffrey was born to Geoffry Cherryhomes and Doreen (Sobodoski) Novak in Highland Park, MI on July 1, 1956. He married Tamara Massey in Roscommon, MI on December 26, 1978. Jeffrey was a supervisor for Lear Corporation in Roscommon with 31 years of service in November 2016. He enjoyed golfing, watching football, especially the Detroit Lions, and loved working in his vegetable garden. Jeffrey was a wonderful family man and loved spending time with his family. His wife, children and grandchildren were the joys of his life.

Jeffrey is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Tammy Cherryhomes of St. Helen; daughter, Candice Bailey of St. Helen; son, Jeffrey (Kimberly) Cherryhomes of West Branch; grandsons, Kaden Bailey, Dominik Bailey, Chase Bailey and Brady Cherryhomes; and sister, Sandra Cherryhomes of Warren. He is preceded in death by his parents.

A private family funeral service has been held.
