Joanne A. Gillmore

Joanne A. Gillmore, age 74 of Rose City, passed away at her home, Thursday, June 15, 2006. She had lived in Rose City since 1975, formerly of Flint. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, outdoor activities, gardening and flowers. Mrs. Gillmore is survived by her daughters, Billie Jo (Ronnie) Crane of Flint and Denise Anthony-Iverson of Rose City; grandchildren, David (Juanita) Crane, Mark (Carol) Crane, Mellissa Crane and Marcia Crane all of Flint, Amanda (Greg) Reasner of Rose City and Mike Anthony Jr. of West Branch; great-grandchildren, Briana, Hunter, Madison, Kristina, Chyanne, David, Timothy, Kase and Kole and her sister Ellen (Burt) White of Lupton; brother, Clare Williams of Flint and step-brother Gary Williams of Linden. She was preceded in death by her husband, James; her parents, Clare and Billie Williams and a step-sister, Margaret Horn. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City will begin on Monday, June 19, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Ken Peterson will officiate. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
