John "Jack" Charles Addison

April 25, 1935 — June 12, 2019

John "Jack" Charles Addison, age 84, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at the Villa in Rose City, MI. He had lived in West Branch for the past 6 years, and Rose City for 6 years, but spent most of his life in Detroit. John was born on April 25, 1935 in London, Ontario, Canada to Wilfred and Margaret (Deveney) Addison. John was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Branch, and a life member and 3rd Degree Knight of the Knights of Columbus Council # 8948. He had a beautiful garden, and loved caring for and growing flowers especially his many prize willing roses.

John is survived by his wife Lorraine of West Branch, his children John (Molly) Addison of Detroit, Donna Addison of Whitmore Lake, David Addison of Taylor, and Timothy Addison of Detroit. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren John, Elisabeth, Caitlin, Evan, Nolan, and a sister Rosemary McCarthy of Hamden, CT. John is preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers, and his first wife Eleanor.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 17, 2019 at 4:00PM at the Evergreen Cemetery in Hale, MI. Joanie Denemy will officiate.
