Julia E. Nakkula

Mrs. Nakkula passed away at Mid-Michigan Medical Center in Gladwin. She had lived in the Gladwin area since 1940. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Christian Catholic Women. Mrs. Nakkula is survived by her children, Jeannette (Leo) Fales and Nancy (Dave) Prescott both of Gladwin, grandchildren--Diane Gillfillan, Marlene Belt, Richard Nakkula, Dawn Hoyt, Michael Fales, Scott Fales, Erin Prescott and Hayley Prescott and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Nakkula and a son George. Visitation will begin at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch on Wednesday April 2, 2003 from 2-8 P.M. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Fr. Robert Bissot will officiate with burial following at St. Joseph Cemetery. A Scripture Service will be held Wednesday evening at 7:00 P.M. Memorial Contributions may be made to the St. Joseph Building Fund.
