Kathrine V. Coomer

Kathrine V. Coomer, age 69 of West Branch, passed away at her home on Friday, May 28, 2010. Kathrine had lived in the West Branch area since 1974. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she served in the primary organization, and was a Master Gardener. Kathrine is survived by her children, Barbara (Joel) Nadon of Tennessee, Richard Doty of Prescott, Michael (Tina) Doty of Alger, Aliceia Hollis of Tennessee and Robin Lohrer of West Branch, 9 step-children including Shane and Donald Steelman of West Branch, 16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her brother Willard Root of Florida and her sister, Roberta Wright of Greenbush. She was preceded in death by her husband Leslie Coomer, sons Clayton Doty, Roger Doty, Brian Doty, and stepson Jamie Coomer. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Sunday, May 30, 2010 from 1-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Alan Withers will officiate. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Fairfield West Cemetery in Elsie, MI.
