Kaye Lee Miller

Kaye L. Miller, age 78 of Rose City, passed away Monday, September 5, 2011 at The Palms of Sebring, Florida. Mr. Miller had lived in Rose City since 1985 formerly of Mt. Clemens. He attended Roseville Schools before he joined the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church of Rose City and St. John United Methodist Church in Florida. He was a member of the “Pioneers” club associated with Michigan Bell Telephone Company, and the Pelican Pete Peddlers in Florida. He enjoyed antique and classic cars and loved to help people. He retired from Michigan Bell Telephone in March 1986 after 30 years of service. Kaye is survived by his wife Thelma Miller of Rose City, children Barbara (David) Schmuck of Lennox Twp., and Gerald (Michelle) Miller of Sioux Falls, S.D. 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City will begin on Sunday, September 11, 2011 from 5-9 p.m. The Funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Rev. Donald Wojewski will officiate. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church in Rose City.
