Kristina Ann Knepfler

Kristina Ann Knepfler, age 46, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2020 at her home in West Branch. She lived in West Branch for the past 25 years, previously from the U.P. Kristina was born on August 25, 1973 in West Branch to David and Sandra (Bloom) Knepfler. She graduated from Ogemaw Heights High School in 1991 and attended Ferris State for a period of time. After school she moved to Lake City and Negaunee. Kristina worked for Arby’s Restaurant and enjoyed riding horses, skiing, tubing, reading and helping her family.

Kristina is survived by her son, Austin Knepfler of West Branch; parents, Dave and Sandra Knepfler of West Branch; siblings, Tracy Knepfler, Chad Knepfler and Shelly (Steve Launstein) Knepfler all of West Branch; nieces and nephews, Kalea and Keaton Kropp, Brooke Knepfler, Kaden Newsum and Troy Sancrant; grandma, Nancy DeLater of West Branch; aunts and uncles, Janette Deering of West Branch, Mike (Linda) Bloom of ND, Tim (Tammy) Bloom of Alger, MaryBeth Reed of West Branch, Phyllis Gooding of West Branch, and Margaret Knepfler of Bay City; and many cousins. She is preceded in death by her stillborn baby boy; grandparents, Clarence and Marie Burgher; grandpas, Ben DeLater, Ron Reed and Jack Bloom; and uncles, Carl Knepfler, Ronald Burgher and Marvin Gooding.

A Memorial Service will held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Friday, February 21, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Father Emmanuel Finbarr will officiate.
