Larry L. Calvin

Larry L. Calvin, age 82, passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Medilodge of Tawas City in Tawas, MI. He lived in West Branch, MI since 1980 formerly of Monroe, MI

Larry was born on June 8, 1939 in Monroe, MI to Albert and Bessie (Knisley) Calvin. On October 29, 2004 he married Betty Holko in West Branch.

He worked for Ford Motor Company and was the owner of his own construction business. He enjoyed hunting, camping, being outdoors and traveling the beautiful state of Michigan enjoying the scenery and nature. Larry loved children and spending time with his family. “You betcha”

Larry is survived by his wife, Betty Calvin of West Branch; son, Larry A. Calvin of Monroe; daughter, Sherry A. Calvin of Tifton, GA; grandchildren, Joshua (Heidi), Matthew (Christen), Shane, and Kristen; great grandchildren, Jaylynn Maxine, Jacquelynn, Cole, Haley, Matthew, Riley, and Tiffany; brother, Leroy; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Maxine, and brother, Vernon “Jack”.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. Burial of his ashes will be at Damon Cemetery in West Branch.
