Larry V. Lassiter

Mr. Lassiter, age 60 of West Branch passed away at his home. He had been a resident of West Branch since 1994, formerly of Flint. He was a member of the UAW for 32 1/2 years. He enjoyed fishing and pool. Mr. Lassiter is survived by his wife, Betty of West Branch, children--Jack (Dawn) Lassiter of Birch Run, Melissa (Matthew) Miller of West Branch, Terrie Selinski and Tracie (David) Rector both of Macomb Township and Shari King of Jackson, Grandchildren--Joey, Nickie, Chris, Christine, Gage, Brady, Clay, Ethan, Lakin, Katelyn, Krischan, Ashley, Brendan, Janell and Christy. Also surviving is his mother, Christine Lassiter of Davison, sisters, Wilma (Jim) Ross of New Lothrup and Judy (William) Harman of Flint and his brother, Wade (Iris) Lassiter of Davison and his special friends, Sheri (Dave) Thomas, Sharon Karnafel and Cliff Hall all of West Branch and Tess (Derek) Morris of England. He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Gizmo. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Lassiter and his brother Boyd Lassiter. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Wednesday May 5, 2004 from 1-8 P.M. The Funeral Service will be at 1:30 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Evangelist James Hensley of the Church of Christ will officate. Burial will follow at Edwards Township Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Helping Hands, 337 E.
