Lawrence John "Buck" Scott

Lawrence John “Buck” Scott, age 57 of Rose City, passed away Friday, September 23, 2016 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Saginaw. Buck was born March 4, 1959 to John and Joan Scott in Grayling, MI. Buck married Brenda Lee Allor on June 25, 1977 in Hale, MI. Buck had lived in Rose City since 2006, formerly of Lupton. He enjoyed tree carving, horseback riding, spending time with his family and friends, and riding his Harley. Buck treasured the time he spent riding with his motorcycle family. Buck belonged to the Ironworkers local #25 and was a volunteer firefighter and EMT.

Buck is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Lee Scott of Rose City, son, Johnny Lee (Mary) Scott of OH, daughter, Angela Marie (Justin Farthing) of GA, grandchildren, Charlie, Nikolas, Michael, Mary, Jacob, and Hunter. Also surviving are siblings, Debbie (Ray) Rosebrough of Caro, Lynn May of Rose City, Sandy (Ben) Rosebrough of West Branch, Earl (Frances) Scott of NC, Patty (Kevin “Ratt”) Smith of West Branch, JoAnn (Joe) Delmonte of WV, Wally Scott of Lupton, Gilbert (Ellen) Scott of Lupton, sisters-in-law, Joyce Scott of Saginaw, Jonell Scott of Rochester Hills, and mother-in-law, Luna Allor. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Joan Scott, brother, Jerry Scott, and father-in-law, William Allor.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Kenyon's Resort at 5pm Monday, September 26, 2016.

There will be an additional Celebration of Life held at a local club that he supported and enjoyed being a part of with his motorcycle family and friends at a later time and date. Everyone is welcome to attend. Details will be shared when available.
