Lawrence Patrick Tabaka

Lawrence Patrick Tabaka (Larry), 76, of Rose City MI, passed away on March 23, 2019 in West Branch Michigan.

Visitation will be Friday, April 5th from 1-8 p.m. at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home, 611 Bennett St. Rose City MI 48654. Rosary will be said at 7PM by the Knights of Columbus #8948.

A Celebration of Life Mass will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, April 6th at Holy Family Catholic Church, 402 W. Peters Rd, West Branch MI 48661. Father Al Pillarelli and Father Emmanuel Finbarr will officiate. A luncheon and reception will immediately follow at the Holy Family Church hall at the same address.

Larry was born in Detroit to Joseph and Helen on October 1, 1942. He married Felicia (Kwiatkowski) on January 23, 1964 in Detroit. He worked as a Mechanic for Chrysler for 30 years. In retirement he enjoyed time with his family, many Canada fishing trips and was active in the Rose City community as a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Larry is preceded in death by Father Joseph John, Mother Helen Annete and Sister Joan Sally Long.

Survived by Wife Felicia Ann (Kwiatkowski) Tabaka, and Son Lawrence P. Tabaka Jr, Daughter Beth Ann Pietrowski, Son Brian Joseph Tabaka, Son in-law James Pietrowski, Siblings- Joseph Delano Tabaka, Delphine Helen Paputa, Greg Joseph Tabaka, Elaine Theresa (Tabaka) Cotant, Irving Christopher Tabaka

Grandchildren (3) - Brennan James Pietrowski 23, Elizabeth Ann Pietrowski 21 and Nicholas James Pietrowski 14.
