Leah Rose Meir

Leah Rose Meir December 14, 1949 ~ October 3, 2011 Leah Rose Meir, age 61 of Portales, New Mexico, formerly of West Branch, Bellaire, Central Lake and Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, passed away Monday, October 3, 2011. Leah enjoyed the out-of –doors, camping, hunting, feeding and watching all wildlife. She loved spending time with family and most important her grandchildren. Leah is survived by her husband Bernard Meir of Traverse City, MI, her sons Michael (Rachel) of Kissimmee, FL, Vaughn (Chris) of South Lyon, MI, Jeremy (Huang Ling) of Kunming, China, Heath (Christie) of Boyne City, MI, Art of Sault Ste. Marie, MI, 15 very loved grandchildren, 4 brothers, 1 sister and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at Klacking Creek Township Hall in West Branch, Michigan on Wednesday, October 3, 2012. Friends may gather with the family beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m.
