Lewis B. Richardson, age 85, of West Branch, passed away Monday, November 5, 2007 at West Branch Regional Medical Center. He had lived in West Branch since 1976, formerly of Akron. Mr. Richardson opened a small engine repair shop after he retired, and he enjoyed playing the guitar. Lewis is survived by his wife, Leona Richardson of West Branch, children; Judy (Dan) Stajkowski of Alger, Deb Anderson, Catherine Hall and Bev Hall all of Saginaw, and Sandy Guile of Caro. Also surviving are many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and three nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Anna Richardson and his sister, Ethelmae. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Thursday, November 8, 2007 from 5-9 p.m. On Friday, Mr. Richardson will lie in state at the Ogemaw Hills Free Methodist Church in West Branch beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Pastor David Wolfe will officiate. A private burial service will take place Friday at Brookside Cemetery in Fairgrove, MI. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Ogemaw Hills Christian School or to Hospice of Helping Hands, West Branch.
