Lewis D. Welch

Mr. Welch passed away Saturday January 10, 2004 at West Branch Regional Medical Center. He had lived in St. Helen for the past 22 years, formerly of Swartz Creek. He was a member of the American Legion Post #416-St. Helen, president of the St. Helen Lake Association and Birch Point Property Owners. He enjoyed golfing, snowmobiling, motorcycling, outdoor activities and sports. Mr. Welch is survived by his parents, Donald and Paula Welch of St. Helen, brothers Todd (Tracy) Welch of Portland, OR and Corkey (Amy) Welch of Higgins Lake, MI. niece and nephew, Dante and Rahzi, grandmother Ruth Welch of Flint and many aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Shirley Welch, Lewis and Emily Stimpson and uncles Keith Welch and Ronald Stimpson. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin on Wednesday January 14, 2004 from 3-9 P.M. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at the Funeral Home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
