Lillie E. Gratopp

Lillie E. Gratopp, age 94 of Gladwin, passed away Friday, October 4, 2013 at Bortz Health Care in West Branch. She was born on January 16, 1919 in Troy Township, MI. the daughter of Carl and Wanda Gentz. Lillie had lived in Gladwin since 1982, formerly of Rochester. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in West Branch. She enjoyed garage sales, feeding the birds, gardening and crossword puzzles. Lillie is survived by her children Robert Gratopp, Linda Godlaski and Delores Terry, 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Also surviving is her nephew Dale Gentz and her niece, Sandra Kutchey. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Gratopp in 1988 and her grandson Todd Evans. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Monday, October 7, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:30 a.m. Rev. Howard Travis will officiate. Burial will take place at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East in Mt. Clemens. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. John Lutheran Church, West Branch.
